Duke Infusion/Aphresis Center
The Duke Specialty Infusion Center is an outpatient, hospital-based center that provides therapies to adults with rheumatologic, hematologic, gastroenterological, neurologic, infectious disease, medical genetic, and cardiac disorders.
The center will include outpatient apheresis treatment and the Adult Sickle Cell Day Infusion Center, which provides acute pain management and other infusion-related services.
Patients may receive chemotherapy, blood products, antibiotics, hydration treatment, therapeutic phlebotomy, and a variety of other infusions and injections.
Our nursing team is composed of registered nurses who have specialized training and knowledge of infusion therapy.
