Medical Center Bookstore reopens in new, upgraded location

The Duke University Medical Center Bookstore opened May 10 in a new, upgraded location that is more convenient for patients, families, visitors and Duke employees.

Following construction and a busy move-in weekend, the Medical Center Bookstore has opened in the renovated, former PRT lobby in the lower level of Duke Clinic. The new location – just a few dozen yards west of the South Food Court – is easy to find. There is also an entrance from the outdoor courtyard adjacent to the food court.

The bookstore continues to sell a wide variety of medical reference books, textbooks, medical instruments, officially licensed Duke and DUMC clothing, alumni gifts, and scrubs and lab coats.

Formerly located in the Facilities Building, the bookstore was moved as a result of the need to remove a portion of the Facilities Building to make way for further construction of the Duke Medicine Pavilion.
