Cancer Center
Statistics indicate an expected 14 percent growth in new cancer cases in North Carolina between 2006 and 2011 and a 21 percent in new cancer cases in the Triangle during that same time period.
Duke Medicine is building a new ambulatory cancer center to serve this ever-growing patient population.
Patients and their families will enjoy more space and accessibility, convenience and more attention to their special needs. The new center will unite Duke’s outpatient clinical services, eliminating the need for patients to navigate from one clinic to another.
The Morris Cancer Clinic will continue to be fully functional during the construction period.
