Many thanks to the 2,684 generous donors who gave a total of $1,271,502 to the Duke Medical Annual Fund in fiscal year 2009-2010. While economic conditions continue to challenge us, every donor and dollar demonstrates your belief in the quality of a Duke medical education.
Unrestricted dollars to the Duke Medical Annual Fund and Davison Club give Dean Nancy C. Andrews, MD, the ability to maintain excellence at the forefront of 21st century medical education. Scholarships, curriculum enhancements, and facilities like the new gross anatomy lab in the Davison Building are just some of the ways your support helps tomorrow's Duke docs today.
Making your gift to the Duke Medical Annual Fund and Davison Club online is fast and secure. Our donors seem to agree. Last year, 243 donors made gifts via the Web, for a total of $138,574 in online giving.
As a new fiscal year gets underway, please consider making your gift now, early in the academic year when it can have the most impact. As always, membership in the Davison Club is offered to all those making gifts of $1,000 or more to the Medical Annual Fund, or $500 for recent medical school graduates (classes of 2000-2010).
