Duke Medical Annual FundA New Look
As of July 1, 2008, to align the School of Medicine with all other Duke University annual funds, and to simplify budgeting and reporting, all unrestricted annual giving will now go to the same designation: the Duke Medical Annual Fund. This means you'll still have all the opportunities to support the world-class medical education taking place at Duke. As always, membership in the Davison Club is offered to all those making unrestricted annual fund gifts of $1,000 or more, or $500 for recent medical school graduates (classes of 1998-2008).
Help us get the 2008-2009 effort started early and make your gift online today. In 2007-2008, 325 of you made your gift via the Web, for a total of $107,886 in online giving. A warm thank you to all Duke University School of Medicine alumni, parents, grandparents, friends, house staff, faculty, staff and volunteers who supported the world-class medical education at Duke in 2007-2008. In total, your generous giving raised $1.68 million for medical scholarships, curriculum development, technology, and the library. That is truly a figure in which we can all take pride. For Duke,
James O'Brien, Assistant Director of Development |
